Bayonetta 2 is a practice in excess. It subscribes to the more is more philosophy. But it does so beautifully. Every over exaggerated moment, every big sweeping move is awesome. This game is insanely fun, and one of the best action games of the past decade. Considering the fact that you also get Bayonetta 1 packaged in with Bayonetta 2, this is a MUST buy for any Wii U owner.
As far as the story goes, it follows closely after the first Bayonetta. While it's not required to have played Bayonetta 1, it does help in understanding the story.
